Das Juteseil Amatsunawa 5/5 besitzt einen Durchmesser von etwa 5,5mm. Es ist ein eher locker gedrehtes Juteseil und fusselt mittel bis stark. Amatsunawa ist eine deutsche Firma, die Seile herstellt und vertreibt. Bis etwa 2021 wurde die rohe Jute in Deutschland verarbeitet. Nach Problem mit der Qualität wurde die Qualität umgestellt und die Verarbeitung des Garns zu Juteseil findet nun in Japan statt. Das Amatsunawa 5/5 bildet in dieser Variante die Basis für das von Amatsunawa bereits vorbehandelte Seil Jouyoku 5/5.
